About the Class
This combo course will provide students with the skills, knowledge and training needed to be successful in the energy efficiency workforce.
BUILDING SCIENCE PRINCIPLES COURSE:
Students will be enrolled in the online course after registration. This course is a comprehensive introduction to building science fundamentals. Self-paced online course covering pressure diagnostics, moisture, heat transfer, combustion safety, and more. Exams will be given on the 1st day of class., Passing is a prerequisite for the other certifications.
BUILDING ANALYST TECHNICIAN COURSE:
After completing BSP, students will take this course in person. The Building Analyst Technician will gain the skills necessary to conduct energy assessments on buildings using tools and equipment. The course includes a proctored field exam based on BPI standards. A passing score of 70% or higher is required for certification. Passing this course is necessary to proceed to the next.
