Building Performance Strategies Infiltration and Duct Leakage (IDL) course aligns with the professional standards of excellence set forth by the Building Performance Institute (BPI). This certification is a good way to get started in the industry.
This BPI Infiltration and Duct Leakage course is a single-measure certification that meets IECC building code compliance for builders, contractors and code officials who must perform duct leakage test and/or blower door tests on new construction or renovations to existing properties.
It’s a simple, comprehensive, affordable way for HVAC companies to deliver the tests that builders need to meet IECC codes for air infiltration and duct leakage. This is an in-person, hands-on course.
Official BPI certification requires a passing grade on BPI's field examination.
What to Bring: Photo I.D. (Required for Testing); comfortable clothing for hands-on training. (We will provide all testing equipment and course materials)
BPI requires that we video/audio record your written and field exams.
